    Brecon played hockey spending most of his junior career in Saskatchewan. He finished playing at Macewan University where he graduated with a Business Management Diploma.

    He grew up in Edmonton and played junior hockey in Lloydminster and Spruce Grove before playing at Concordia University.

    He grew up in North Vancouver and played Junior Hockey in British Columbia and Ontario before attending York University.
